Challenge

The colleagues of thyssenkrupp Components Technology Hungary Ltd. created a unique and interesting challenge for the motivated engineering and IT students to find and to test the knowledge of young talents.

Solution

Coding Tomorrow Cup programming competition is organized for students and graduates in the fields of engineering and IT.

2018

The competition had two rounds including an online qualification round in which the competitors had to escape from thyssenkrupp's garage by solving 9 logical and programming tasks. The first 10 teams to make it out of the virtual escape room got into the Live Final, where among other tasks they could control an autonomous car with their own program.

A career event called Tomorrow Day was organized alongside the Final, where the participants could attend professional lectures from well-known professors and thyssenkrupp colleagues, try the race car simulator and attend a concert at the end of the event.

2019

In 2019 the competition awaited the contestants with a new challenge. They had to use their coding skills to teach their virtual self-driving car how to transport passengers safely to their destination.
